"I couldn’t recommend Lainey at Vox Stars enough. I decided to take up lessons at the beginning of the year, and I chose Vox Stars as I was looking for a coach that provided adult lessons for complete beginners. I lost my confidence in singing a few years ago, so even booking a lesson was a scary experience - Lainey made me feel so welcomed and comfortable the minute I walked in, and I knew that I was going to be really happy here. I saw a difference in my singing and myself almost immediately. In just 6 months I have gone from not being able to sing in front of anyone to performing for my friends and family at a Vox Stars Showcase and even auditioning for a local pantomime, singing for a panel of judges, and this is all thanks to Vox Stars. Being able to perform was only ever a dream for me for so many years! I come away from every lesson having learnt so much, and the difference from when I first started is absolutely unbelievable. My lessons feel completely individual and are built around what I would like to work on, with Lainey helping me to choose my goals. "My son attended his first workshop today, the Easter extravaganza. The Vox Stars team made my son feel very welcome. They gave him time and encouragement to join in no pressure. Once my son warmed up and came out of his shell he far enjoyed himself, he loved the party games traditional party games but with a twist, absolutely brilliant ideas. He enjoyed the craft making I was told not to ever wash his tattoo. Lovely snacks provided. "Booked vox stars for my daughters surprise 8th birthday party. The whole party was jam packed with fun, games, activities, singing and dancing. So much effort went into the party. Plenty of different options on themes, activities, songs etc and plenty of ideas and input from vox stars to make it very personalised and the best party ever!
Would 100 percent recommend booking a party here. Was all the fun with pretty much no stress for me as vox stars sort out, plan and host the whole party!
Out of 18children not one had a complaint or even slight moan about the party and everyone was buzzing afterwards.

Amazing place for a singing dancing party , every single kid there loved it from start to finish my child is still now talking about all the props on the day , what was on offer and the venue.

Vox Stars Presents Star Inspirations Fringe show Reviews:
Kate Carey
I went along to the show last night to support a friend who was taking part and it was so much more than I expected. The range of singers was amazing. But more important was the feeling that all the performers were totally invested in each other. Willing each other on to their best performance. The final song, ‘Thank you for the music’ was extremely emotional. Brilliant feel good show. Well done everybody.

I went to see Vox stars tonight to cheer on my Mum and had such a fantastic experience listening to all the talented singers. The feeling of them being invested in each others performance came over in waves and was so refreshing to see. A true musical family feel good show and a must see! Go Lainey and family!

An excellent 5 stars show highly recommended to everyone who likes music and wants to have a fab night out with family and friends! Great atmosphere, talented performers and super songs! You can also attend the show with your kids (5+). We attended on Monday and we booked Friday and Saturday shows as there are different performers and repertoire every single night. Worth seeing! We just loved it! Get yourself booked in you won't regret!

Excellent 5 star show!! Seen Vox stars perform at the fringe last night. I was blown away by the range of talented singers. Was lovely seeing singers off all ages perform and the wee ones were adorable and just as talented. Had such a great night I am going again tonight and bringing my friends with me! If you haven’t already you definitely need to check out their fringe shows! Such a great night!

“Lainey originally came to Jewel and Esk College (now Edinburgh College) for an audition as an enthusiastic teenager to study vocals on our NC Modern Musicianship course. After successfully achieving NC, HNC and HND levels of study with us she went on to complete two further years of study and achieve her honours degree in music, returning to us for a teaching placement in her 3rd year and to involve some of our students in research for her learning and teaching dissertation in her 4th year.
In the 5 years I’ve known her that youthful enthusiasm has never diminished and she’s focused her efforts on achieving the highest academic standards possible throughout. To watch how her technical proficiency, stagecraft and performance as a vocalist has steadily improved, and keeps improving, has been inspirational and the way in which she now applies her learning strategies and ability to take instruction, direction and mentoring to her own tuition role is precisely what any teaching professional would want of a former student. Lainey’s future is as bright as the colours in her hair!”
